Daniel started Mauna Grounds as a passion project to explore hospitality and modern coffee excellence.
The project went under further development through an MBA thesis to identify market patterns, consumer behavior, and seller behavior.
Today, Mauna Grounds is a Consulting Agency that aims to provide enthusiasts and coffee industry operators the best coffee and consulting service to further the craft of coffee.
Where does the name come from?
Daniel was born and raised in Hawaiʻi. He grew up around coffee and the Spirit of Aloha. This agency is marriage of excellence hospitality and really good coffee.
